BOSIdna is the breakthrough social networking and collaboration platform where entrepreneurs from around the world can connect, learn and grow. BOSI is the acronym for Builder, Opportunist, Specialist and Innovator - the four cognitive segments of entrepreneurs discovered by serial entrepreneur and author, Joe Abraham.
We’re glad to give you our “interview questions” ahead of time so you know what we look for in the ideal candidate for BOSI Advisor Certification.
Have you been bit by the BOSI bug? If you’ve read Entrepreneurial DNA, taken the BOSI Assessment and considered how they could impact your business, the question is this. Are you excited? Do you find yourself full of ideas on how BOSI could work in your practice? If so, you may be bit by the BOSI bug. That’s a good sign for you and us.
Do you want to be part of something bigger than yourself? Some provider firms think they are the know-all-and-end-all of business coaching/consulting. If you fall in that category, we’re not for you. We’re only looking to partner with firms that see BOSI and its global impact as bigger than them – something they want to be part of building. If you’re that person, that’s a good sign.
Are you willing to be entrepreneurial? It sounds silly on the surface, but that is a requirement of this gig. We’re not a cookie-cutter brand so we’re not going to be handing you a box full of brochures and checklists wrapped with a pretty bow. We’re looking for individuals who intend to take what we teach them and make it better. We’re looking for firms that believe in their own capacity and simply use us as a fulcrum to get better marketplace results.
Do you have a passion to serve? So many firms in the marketplace are about the next notch in their customer acquisition belt. We’re looking for partners who truly have a passion to serve entrepreneurs. That’s how we are wired so we want to be around like-minded people. If you care more about money than you do client results, there are other brands that would love to work with you. We’re not interested.
Is your attitude success-focused? So many people come to us convinced the sky is always falling. “Oh the economy!”. “Oh the colors of the website”. “If only the marketing brochure said something different.” Look, we don’t really have ears for that at here. We’ve landed massive consulting contracts without any websites or brochures. We’ve built multi-million dollar businesses from the ground up with no capital. We didn’t let the dot-com crash, 9-11 attack or the 2008 market crash slow us down. We’re looking for partners who are wired the same way. We believe that your attitude sets the altitude of success. We want to partner with individuals and firms that embrace a can-do attitude rather than a can’t-do one.
Do you have big dreams and goals – with a high desire for their achievement? We’ve found that entrepreneurs without big dreams build small ventures. But we also know plenty of entrepreneurs with big dreams but low passion. Low passion leads to weak performance. However, when big dreams and passion meet great opportunity (like BOSI), the results can be incredible. We want to create incredible results with firms that are ready to do whatever it takes to succeed.
Can you be an evangelist? Our founder is a preacher’s kid so he knows a thing or two about being an evangelist. Here’s how it applies to being a BOSI Certified Advisor. The saying goes “When you’re on fire, people will drive for miles to come watch you burn“. We want our partners to catch on fire about BOSI. Much of that fire gets lit once you’ve attended launch training and start to deploy the BOSI systems in your client’s businesses. The sheer results fire you up. But the question is this. When you find something that gets you excited based on real results, will you be an evangelist or will you hide in the dungeon waiting for the phone to ring? We’re looking for people who are going to get out in the streets, tell the story and get the growth as a result. If you’re hoping to sit back, do little-to-nothing and cash in on the BOSI brand, you’re not our kinda firm.
